Testing Testing!!!! :)

It has been some time since I last blog. What have I been up to, if you like to know LOL! I have started working full time and my church made me the youth leader. That all spells I have been soooooo busy that sewing have been put on the back burner for a while. I have cut out a couple things but I never got to sewing it.

So this daddy/daughter dance thing came up and it gave me my sewing mojo back I think!Well I guess I will see! LOL!

Butterick 3714

I did a button hook instead of hook/eye.

Hubby and DD :)

Fabric: Platinum glitter satin from JoAnn fabric.

Pattern: Butterick 3714

Notions: 18" zipper, hook and eyes.

Conclusion: This was a very easy dress but I am still trying to master putting in an invisible zipper. All I have to say is one day I will get there. I have to refer to youtube every time I have to put one in. Maybe one day PLEASE!! LOL!

Well that's all forks!!! Happy crafting to all :)

Simply beautiful and I must say I like the way your neck hangs better than the one in the pattern picture.

Gorgeous looking dress. I am hit or miss with invisible zippers. Not sure why it just works for me sometimes and other times looks a hot mess.
