Sewing for Family :)

I did some sewing for my daughter last weekend.

Pattern: McCall's 5697 I made view B.
Children and girls jacket: loose fitting, unlined jacket has self-lined yoke, collar and front button closure; jacket A has short sleeves with stitched hem; B C D have patch pockets; jacket B has below elbow sleeves with ruffle; jacket C has long sleeves and purchased flower; jacket D has long sleeves with buttoned tab.

Conclusion: This was a easy sew.I had seen a lot of these jacket in the store for little girls. So I decided to make one for my dd. The fabric I got a yard sale for 3 yards for a 1.00$. The fabric is denim. Click picture for closer look.

I also made a blue jean purse for my niece! She loves it!! That is good she is 14 and hard to make something they like!

Well that's it for me! Happy crafting!

You have a great blog. I'd love for you to come and visit my blog. I just made a Vintage Vogue Original 1944 Design, V2858. On the previous page you'll find a dress I made from an original 1974 pattern that I found in an antique store. I call that post The Lady in Lavender. And lots of other things in between. Hope you enjoy.
